The New House

Our househunting trip over the Fourth of July went really well. We found a house and will close the day we pull into Huntsville--whoohoo no hotel!

Here are some pictures of our new place. It is on 1.73 acres and is approx. 2400 sq. feet--a little bigger than our current house. You can tell from the first two pictures that there is one upstairs room called a "bonus room." It is basically a bedroom without a closet. Since there are four other bedrooms we plan to use it for a play room.

I have quite the scowl on my face in this picture and I have no idea why. This is the main living area in the house.
These two outiside pictures are of the backyard --where the kids will do most of their playing-- and the side yard-- where we intend to put our vegetable garden. There is a similar open grassy area on the other side of the house but we can't garden there because of the location of the septic tank.

Look at all those trees! It is absolutely gorgeous and is 100% you. It looks like the perfect home for you. Congrats on the close being the same day as your arrival. That makes it so much easier. Seeing the pictures makes it that much more real that you all are moving. We are going to miss you.
